NGO "Dali Bude" was founded in 2006 by a group of active young people whose goal was to change the country through culture.
Since 1991 when Ukraine got an independence in cultural area there have been a lot of changes, new generations of musicians and artists began active, particularly, in the case of building modern culture of Ukraine and rennovation of traditional arts. The governmental policy and infrastructure almost remains the same but it also changes slowly. The main goal of "Dali Bude" is to support artists, musicians, events, actions to develop the culture and to increase the rythmes of govermental reforms. Our mission is cultural, intellectual and spiritual raise of people, overcoming discrimination and intolerance, develop an intercultural dialogue. The areas of our work are: - modern culture: world music, rock music, visual arts, cinema, theatre - traditional culture: music, costumes, dances, crafts, workshops on crafts, sacred world music.
Our activities: - Festivals, concerts, presentations of music - National Dance workshops - Visual art and crafts exhibitions - Film Screenings and Events in non-popular sector - Publishing and film production to popularize Ukrainian culture - Popularization of world music in Ukraine and abroad, support bands and musicians - Support theaters, organization of theater performances - Organizing seminars and intellectual tournaments for youth, practicing non-traditional ways of education Main activities of last years: 1. Svirzh World Music Festival , July 31-August 2 2009. 2. Management & promotional support of Ukrainian artists in Ukraine and worldwide: “Bozhychi” (traditional folk ensemble, the most successful in Ukraine), The Yurcash (folk-punk-rock band), Concord (a-capella folk-fusion band) and others 3. Great Exhibition of visual art works of Sergey Parajanov in the National Arts Museum of Ukraine, from the collection of Yerevan Parajanov’s Museum in Armenia. The Exhibition is one of the most successful examples in Ukrainian history, it was attended by record number of people (according to the Museum possibilities) - 43000. It was attended by a number of cultural famous personalities and politicians, including Ministry of Culture and Tourism and First Lady of the Country. 2008 4. Creation of first in Ukraine music video clip on folk song, from the repertoire of ensemble «Bozhychi». 2007-2008 5. Woma’n’Roll Fest with the participation of Ukrainian world music and rock bands. 2008 6. Armenian Film Festival in the largest Ukrainian cities: Kyiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv. 2007 7. Concert to International Day of Peace of UN with the participation of folk and world music bands and musicians. 2006
NGO “Dali Bude” cooperates with government (national and local), commercial sponsors, non-profit organizations, universities, cultural institutions and embassies etc.
