Festival represents the best films of last years, created by Armenian film directors in Armenia and diasporas. The films are demonstrated in the biggest cities of Ukraine.

The Festival first took place in April 2007. Next will be in September 2008.

It presents one of the most ancient civilizations of the world, and at the same time a little bit forgotten, but actual culture for Ukraine. The invaluable cultural heritage since old times created by the Armenian communities was reserved in Ukraine. Armenians are now one of the greatest ethnic communities of the country - more than 200 thousand people.

Program 2007 included 8 films in 4 sections: feature, documentary, short, animation. And also a special retro display of film of Sergey Paradzhanov "Colour of a pomegranate ". Among the films included in the program of Festival there are participants of the International film festival " The Golden apricot ". Films were awarded by prestigious premiums and awards.
